About us
AEGEE-Brno, European Student Forum, r. a. is a civil association which aims to promote the educational, cultural and personal development of its members and to develop international cooperation with similar organisations abroad.
AEGEE-Brno is an offshoot of the pan-European organisation of the same name. The main objective is to strengthen cooperation between young people from all over Europe. This is done by organising a series of events, the most important of which are the so-called summer universities. If you like to have fun, travel, get to know foreign cultures, or want to practice your language skills in practice, you will definitely find your place here!
The AEGEE branch in Brno was founded in 1993, but soon ceased to function due to a lack of members. The idea of starting it up again came only to a group of students from the Faculty of Social Studies, who took part in one of the events organised by AEGEE – the European Union Model – on 4-10 March 2007.
The foundation took place on 19 March 2007 with the participation of a growing number of interested Masaryk University students. Michal Veselý, Vice President of the Bratislava Section, also supported AEGEE-Brno with his presence. Immediately after the foundation, cooperation with the only AEGEE branches in the Czech Republic – AEGEE-Prague and AEGEE-Plzeň – was agreed. Since then, AEGEE-Brno has joined the other local organisations of the pan-European AEGEE network and has been successfully developing its activities.
Funding is based on membership fees. However, support from other entities is warmly welcomed. If you are interested in material or financial support, please contact info@aegee-brno.org. If you decide to support our organization, we will be happy to provide you with a space for presentation on our website or at events organized by us, as agreed.

- Fill in the AEGEE online application form and register in the AEGEE system (Apply for AEGEE-Brno)
- Pay the membership fee of 500 CZK to our account at Fio bank 2500122732 / 2010 (don’t forget to put your name in the message to the recipient!). The membership fee can also be paid at our regular meeting.
- We will approve you in the system after receiving the payment (take this as a confirmation of receipt of payment).
