How do I become a member?
Becoming a member is not difficult, just log in to our intranet at my.aegee.eu and pay the membership fee of 500Kč.
What are the benefits of AEGEE-Brno membership?
Membership in AEGEE-Brno gives you the opportunity to participate in all events organised at European level. You can travel with us and discover Europe or learn new skills through workshops. If you have enough time and initiative, we would be happy if you could get involved in the organisation of events, so you can gain valuable experience and a new entry on your CV.
What does it mean to me if I become an active member?
You don’t have to worry about active membership at all. It’s an opportunity for you to get more involved in AEGEE. In the beginning, you will help us to arrange events, for example, make reservations, take care of strangers, etc. This will take you a maximum of 5 hours a week, a bit more during the events themselves. If you want to try something more, you can organize such an event yourself from scratch under the supervision of more experienced members. Alternatively, after some time you can take part in the leadership of the whole branch(president, multi-president, treasurer…). Or you can go even higher and get involved in one of our pan-European structures, but that’s a bit longer 🙂
Where can I travel to?
Almost all over Europe. Here, it really depends a lot on the specific period and events currently listed. Surprisingly, you can only go to summer universities in the summer, and then to various other events during the year, and if you’re interested in a full list of our branches, check here.
